Relli Shechter* is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Middle East Studies,
Ben-Gurion University. He is currently a Visiting Professor at Trinity College, University of Oxford.
Research interests: Business History, Consumption Studies, the Economic History of the Middle East. Current project discusses the emergence of mass consumer societies in Egypt and Saudi Arabia since the mid-1970s. (See research abstract).
